The popular female comic, who also stars on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, is the headline act for the latest Comedy At The Court House in Dudley.

It is taking place on Saturday night at the pub in the town centre, with tickets just £10 and going fast.

She will be supported on the night by Midlands comic Andy Robinson, who regularly comperes at the Glee Club in Birmingham and is Jo Brand’s support act when she is out on tour. New act Usama Khan, originally from Bradford but now living in Dudley, is fast rising up the circuit ladder and completes the line-up, with Wayne Beese hosting the show.

The night is brought to the pub in New Street under the Funny Beeseness banner, and takes place in the function room above the main bar with a massive selection of real ales.

Beese, also from Dudley, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing Angela to the town. She’ll be a familiar face and voice to many from her appearances on the telly and she is a brilliant live act, so it promises to be a night to remember in a really intimate environment.”

“Andy and Usama are both fantastic also, so it will be well worth coming along for a tickle of the old funny bones.”

Funny Beeseness also run shows in Stourbridge, Brierley Hill, Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield and Whitchurch.

Canadian TV comic Tom Stade headlines in Sutton and Brierley Hill in November, while character comedian Tom Binns brings hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury and others to Halesowen and Whitchurch in December.
