Halesowen’s Startime Variety will be performing Cinderella at Netherton Arts Centre in Dudley for five days in memory of late society member Mike Clifford.

It has been written and produced by Startime member Tina Lily and due to include original new characters Jazz and Hans, Giselle, Fairy G, and ugly stepsisters Gorgon and Zola.

Jeanette Greenway, who plays the part of a town crier in the pantomime, said the cast had been rehearsing for the show since September.

"It's going to be brilliant," she said. "We have a boot instead of a glass slipper, songs from the Greatest Showman, and lots of new people performing.
