Balletboyz performed Fourteen Days at the Grand Theatre in a debut for the venue, which saw four new pieces put on, each of which was created in just 14 days.

These pieces were The Title Is In the Text, choreographed by Javier de Frutos; Human Animal, by Iván Pérez; Us, by Christopher Wheeldon; and The Indicator Line, by Craig Revel Horwood.

Fan favourite from 2013, Fallen was also performed in the second half.

Press and PR manager at the Grand Theatre, Scott Bird, said he looks forward to 'the opportunity of hosting similar productions in the future'.

“Balletboyz made their Wolverhampton debut this week and whilst we’ve presented many ballet productions here before, it was particularly exciting to be able to present a company who challenge the boundaries of what you’d usually expect," said Scott.

"Here is a contemporary take on ballet presented by an all-male company who created four completely contrasting pieces in just 14 days each.

"Dance audiences in Wolverhampton are growing considerably and I look forward to the opportunity of hosting similar productions here in the future.”
