Canalside Farm was unable to run the annual event, which would take place in the cafe at the farm in Great Haywood near Stafford.

So co-owner Anna Barton said the farm made a decision to move the event online to avoid disappointing customers who enjoy taking part in the event.

She said: “It’s probably the first Christmas activity a lot of people will do with their families.

“We’ll still limit the sessions to 12 people as it gives them more chances to ask questions, but there’s nothing stopping us from doing more online events over the next month.”

Advanced booking is required for the workshops and spaces are limited.

All materials for the workshop will be boxed up and ready to collect from the farm at Canalside Farm, Mill Lane, Great Haywood, with each box costing £35.
