Simon Fischer-Becker, who starred as Dorium Maldovar on Doctor Who and featured in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was the special guest for the day, meeting and greeting fans.

The event was held on Saturday and took place from 9am to 5pm and was organised by Geekmania West Midlands.

The event featured a variety of superhero and supervillain cosplayers, and stalls filled with comic-book themed merchandise for visitors to browse and buy.

Visitors took the opportunity to be pictured with their favourite comic-book characters and on the 'Shocker Asylum Chair' as like in the Batman and Joker comics.

Visitors, varying in age, also came in their own creative cosplay outfits and participated in an array of fun comic-book themed games.
