Stafford Art Group was formed in 1962 and currently has about 70 members.

The exhibition was held at the Oddfellows' Hall in Greengate Street, Stafford, on Friday and Saturday.

It featured live painting, a display of sketchbooks and hand-painted greetings cards.

Reg Sayer, from the group, said: "Stafford Art Group was formed in 1962 and currently has approximately 70 members. Members are free to paint whatever they wish in any medium they choose. Beginners and experienced artists are equally welcome.

"While the group is not a teaching organisation, the more experienced members are always happy to give advice. Meetings are held twice weekly in Littleworth Community Centre.
