Matthew Rawlins and his family are organising the event at Rugeley Community Centre on July 13.

There will be a bouncy castle, velcro wall, face painting and more at the event from 12noon to 4pm.

The 29-year-old from Chadsmoor, said he was organising the event as two of his grandparents died from cancer and his mother battled cancer when he was young.

He said: "I'm hoping to raise as much as I can for charity.

"My mum had thyroid cancer and it affected the family a lot.

"Now she has to have tablets daily to live, she managed to beat cancer but it took a long time.

"My grandad died after a battle with pancreas cancer and my grandmother died when my mum was young, so cancer is a big thing for all of us.

"I wanted to show people that we are doing something to support others with cancer.

"I've seen my mum high and low, it made me realise I needed to do something."

The event will take place at Rugeley Community Centre in Burnthill Lane on July 13 from 12noon to 4pm.
