The 21-year-old, from Cannock, was not chosen to go through to the live semi-final of the talent competition by her mentor Olly Murs on last night's show.

But she could make a triumphant return to the show if the public votes to give her a lifeline – with the winner out of the 16 singers not being announced till next week.

Georgia was first to perform on Saturday night's show with a rendition of Sam Sparrow's Black and Gold. During rehearsals, Georgia said she was "star struck" as she got to perform in front of singer songwriter Anne-Marie.

Commenting on Georgia's performance, Anne-Marie said: "Her voice is so different to anyone else I heard. She smashed it."
