Noel Edmonds has denied that he has been feuding with Holly Willoughby.

The ex-I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! contestant and the ITV show’s co-host are said to have been at odds since an interview on This Morning in 2016.

Edmonds told Good Morning Britain: “I respect Holly as a broadcaster … We had a spat on This Morning.”

He said he saw Willoughby on Sunday and added: “We hugged. There is no feud.”

The disagreement on Willoughby’s show This Morning, which Edmonds described as a “silly production squabble”, was said to have been over his views on the causes of cancer.

Edmonds, who suffered from prostate cancer, said his views about negative energy had been misunderstood and added: “I would love to have the opportunity to go on This Morning again and properly talk about this subject of the human body energy system.”

He said of being the first to leave the Australian jungle: “I was initially very surprised and then the next emotion was great disappointment.

“I felt very sad because I went in there to be honest and open and give it my best shot and in that sense it felt like I went too soon.

“I was voted out. I’m disappointed about that. But this has been a lifetime experience for me. I will be eternally grateful. ”

He said: “I was really surprised and a little bit upset but I’ve got over it.”

Meanwhile, John Barrowman is now back in the jungle after suffering a sprained ankle.

The star was exempt from Sunday’s public vote after being taken to hospital for treatment.

Hollyoaks star Malique Thompson-Dwyer became the second contestant to leave the show.
