The owners of The Robin 2 in Bilston have announced on Facebook: "Due to the ever increasing restrictions and unnerving times that lie ahead of us, we here at The Robin have decided to take the very hard decision to remain closed for the remainder of 2020.

"This has been a very hard decision that we have come to but, for the safety of all our staff, artists, friends and followers, along with the worry of further restrictions to be imposed, we feel it is in everyone's best interests to take this decision."

The club, in Mount Pleasant, has been unable to stage concerts since the lockdown.

All tickets purchased will be rescheduled for 2021.

"We will be back in 2021 to kick out some of the best live music shows that you can ask for and we hope to see you there," the Facebook post continues.

"As always, thank you for your support and patience in these very difficult times."
