Shaggy to play Solihull Summer Fest

Reggae and dancehall star Shaggy will perform at this year's Solihull Summer Fest.

Shaggy joins Kool and The Gang, Shalamar, The Brand New Heavies, Snap! The Blow Monkeys and supporting tribute act Rob Lamberti as George Michael on Saturday, July 25, at Solihull’s Tudor Grange Park which now completes Saturday’s line-up.

Sunday's headline act is yet to be announced.

Shaggy is best known for his hit singles Oh Carolina, Boombastic, It Wasn't Me, and Angel.

In 2000, he released the album Hot Shot, which was certified six-times Platinum in the US.

He has also collaborated with articles such as Sting, Chaka Khan, Beres Hammond, Rayvon, Tarrus Riley, Chronixx, OMI and Pitbull among others.

Solihull Summer Fest takes place at Tudor Grange Park from July 25 to 26.
