Janey Believe is out on January 24, and will be the second track to be taken from his upcoming self-titled debut EP, due out just after the single drops in February.

More coverage:

Talking about the track, Burke said: "It tells the story of young people trying to compromise between starting their life and not abandoning their lust for adventure. It explores themes of acceptance, belief, love, and also failure."

Produced by Elliot Vaughan, Burke adds: "It is influenced by the work of Wakey!Wakey!, Gavin DeGraw, and Bon Iver."

Burke was born and raised in Sheffield. Through time spent in Canada and the US, he developed a real taste for the indie and folk music which North America is known for, and was influenced by artists such as Bon Iver, The Fray, Wakey!Wakey!, Donovan Woods, Charlie Simpson, and Gavin DeGraw. He began to stamp his mark on the Vancouver music scene through the underground of the East Side of Downtown. But now based in Birmingham, he aims to deliver "the authentic sound and voice of a wanderer".
