Sedgley Christmas lights event takes place on Sunday with entertainment from artists inside the Sedgley Bull Ring throughout the event.

Cabaret singer Kenny Craig, who hails from the town, will be opening the show, the third time he will do so.

He said: "I'll do a few songs and get the crowd singing along.

"I'm extremely proud to have been asked back by the organisers as I am proud of Sedgley and love the opportunity to be able to give something back.

"This event is all about the people and the work done to organise it, so it's nice to be a part of it."

The event attracted over 600 people to the switch-on in 2018 and organisers are expected just as many this year.

There will be stalls selling arts and crafts and food and drink along Sedgley High Street, which will be narrowed to a single lane, while Dean Street will be closed off and Ettymore Road will be partially closed.

The event starts at 4pm on December 1 in Sedgley town centre.
