Carl Hodson was the leader of Singing for Lung Health and Howling Wolves which were formed in 2013.

He stepped down on July 27 after moving from Wolverhampton to Leicestershire, and the travel time became too much.

The 48-year-old said: "It has been a wonderful time spending with the choirs and they are lovely bunch of people."

Mr Hodson has begun leading a new choir from the village of Burbage, Leicestershire, called Harmonic Voices.

He says the choirs are always after new members and meet at 7pm every Wednesday at the Lighthouse Media Centre, Wolverhampton.
