The Midlands Showbiz Reunion will be held for the first time in 2019 to reunite all the footballers, DJs, comedians, managers and stars from across the Black Country and wider West Midlands.

The exclusive, invite-only event will be held at Molineux in Wolverhampton on the afternoon and evening of July 17.

And if you're around, you could spot stars on the red carpet such as Jasper Carrott, Suzy Perry, Bev Bevan and more.

There will also be legend Wolves players, as well as former footballers from West Bromwich and Aston Villa.

One organiser, 77-year-old DJ, Barry Cary said it was going to be "a cracking night". He helped put the one-off event together with Black Country musician Kenny Craig.

Mr Cary said: "It was when we went to the funeral of comedian Ian Sludge Lees last year, and so many of us were there, that I thought we needed a big get-together.

"I think it will really be a wonderful night. There are about 230 people going so far, and it's not the stars from today, it's all the older stars.

"I think it will be super. We'll all get together for a drink, and a chat about old times.

"Molineux is going to screen some pictures on the TVs from the old days too which will be nice.

"It's going to be superb, a cracking night."
