Birmingham date for Grace Carter supporting Lewis Capaldi

Grace Carter has revealed a double whammy for fans – her new single accompanying the news she will be the main support slot for Lewis Capaldi’s show in Birmingham later this year.

Don’t Hurt Like It Used To is the latest release from Carter which, according to a spokesperson, “sees her once again use her arresting voice to convey her deepest resolve in her fight against any long-term emotional damage that complex relationships can lead to”.

The accompanying video is set to a desolate lunar landscape and is directed by Nadia (Years & Years, the 1975, Rae Morris).

Having kicked off the year by being placed at No.3 in the prestigious BBC Sound of 2019 list, Grace went on to headline the BBC Introducing stage at SXSW before heading out on her own sold-out UK and European tour this spring. Grace was also tipped by the likes of MTV, YouTube Music, Amazon and Ticketmaster in their coveted one-to-watch lists.

She will support Capaldi in his autumn and winter UK tour which stops off at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on November 25.
