The Walsall superstar will perform alongside the likes of The Killers, The Cure, Stormzy, Kylie Minogue, Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus and more across the five-day event.

The announcement comes fresh after the former Aldridge School pupil won the Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist.

Handed the Brit by Nile Rodgers, Smith dedicated the honour to aspiring female artists.

She said: “Thank you so much. This is for all of us, for all the little girls and women who are just being themselves and loving everything they are doing.

“I didn’t expect this at all. I want to thank everybody out there.”

She also took to the stage to perform a version of Don’t Watch Me Cry at the awards ceremony.

The 21-year-old singer has enjoyed a meteoric rise to stardom, which has seen her release her debut album Lost and Found last year.

Jorja won the Critics' Choice Award at the Brits earlier this year, where she performed alongside Rag 'N' Bone Man.

Bursting onto the scene in 2016 with her critically-acclaimed debut single Blue Lights, Jorja was subsequently tipped for success by a plethora of publications including The Fader, i-D Magazine, Pitchfork, NPR, Vogue and more.

In 2017, Jorja, went on to support mega-star Bruno Mars on the US-leg of his world tour, collaborated with Drake and also co-wrote I Am - her solo single on the number one Black Panther soundtrack - with rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Jorja has also worked with the likes of Kali Uchis and Stormzy, who is set to headline Glastonbury Festival this year.

Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm from June 26 to 30.
