Drake to bring Assassination Vacation tour to Birmingham

Multi-platinum award winning artist Drake will bring hid Assassination Vacation tour to Birmingham this year.

The 32-year-old Canadian musician will play three dates at the Resorts World Arena in March alongside Tory Lanez.

Aubrey Drake Graham, better known by his stage name Drake, first gained recognition as an actor on teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation.

He departed the series in 2007 following the release of his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement.

Drake released his debut studio album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum.

He has since released a further four studio albums. He is best known for a series of hits including Started From The Bottom, Passionfruit, Hotline Bling, God's Plan, In My Feelings and more.

Drake holds several Billboard chart records. He has the most charted songs among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week, the most time on the Hot 100 and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week.

He has received a number of accolades, including three Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, and 15 Billboard Music Awards.

Drake will play Birmingham's Resorts World Arena from March 26 to 28.
