The 21-year-old musician is nominated for three accolades at the ceremony including British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Artist, and British Album of the Year for her 2018 debut Lost & Found.

Jorja already has one BRIT under her belt as the winner of the Critics' Choice award last year, when she also performed at the event alongside Rag'n'Bone Man.

The ceremony will take place on February 20 at The O2 in London and will also see performances from the likes of George Ezra and Little Mix.

Talking about her nominations on Twitter, former Aldridge School student Jorja said: "Wow! Three BRIT Award nominations, I can't actually believe it. British Album of the Year, British Female and British Breakthrough Act! Thank you so much!"

In the Mastercard British Album of the Year award Jorja's album Lost & Found is up against A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships by The 1975, Anne-Marie's Speak Your Mind, High As Hope by Florence and The Machine, and Staying At Tamara's by George Ezra.

To win the British Female Solo Artist category she must beat Anne-Marie, Florence and The Machine, Jess Glynne and Lily Allen.

And in the British Breakthrough Act, Jorja will be vying for the crown against Ella Mai, IDLES, Mabel and Tom Walker.

The star has been named among the top 50 ‘Movers and Shakers Of The Moment’, and in 2017 went on to support mega-star Bruno Mars on the US-leg of his world tour.
