The Trials of Cato, which started out in 2015, has been described by BBC Radio 2's Mark Radcliffe as 'one of the real discoveries on the folk circuit in recent times' and won the Rising Star Act award from folking.com this year.

Its members are due to release the band's debut album Hide And Hair 'this summer', they say.

The group, whose music is described as being 'firmly rooted in the traditions of Ireland and Britain' with a contemporary twist, is made up of three men who created the band while teaching English in Lebanon.
