The Robin 2 in Bilston is a finalist in the National Tribute Music Awards.

It is up for the award for best all round in-house team at a club below 800 capacity.

The awards are run by the Entertainment Agents Association and the winners will be announced at Leicester Athena on July 4.

The venue has been run by Mike Hamblett for decades – first in Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill, before its move to Mount Pleasant in Bilston – and has played host to hundreds of acts over the years.

Top tribute acts to play at the venue are The Counterfeit Stones and Jean Genie.
