Americana super-group Bennett Wilson Poole.

Danny Wilson, of Danny and The Champions of the World, Grand Drive, and Robin Bennett, of The Dreaming Spires and Saint Etienne, have joined forces with Tony Poole, of Starry Eyed and Laughing to form the UK super group, and are set to appear at St George's Hall, Bewdley, on June 1.

Bennett Wilson Poole is the collaboration made for destiny and set to make a significant mark in the recording annals.

They combine their voices, guitars, and song-writing to marvellous effect in their new collection of songs that began as uplifting acoustic music and just grew into something far more wide-ranging and transcendent, providing balm, inspiration and succour for these troubled times.

Their album, titled Bennett, Wilson and Poole, is testament to Tony’s production and musical talents.

Bewdley is gaining an enviable reputation nationwide for bringing significant artists to play while strongly supporting its own local musicians.

The evening will open with local youth act, Ivywoods, while Chloe Mogg will provide another local element appearing as the main support act.

Tickets costing £12 are available via th www.musicinthehall.co.uk website or from the Hall Cafe.
