WWE NXT returning to Download Festival 2018 - as rock event announces more acts on the bill

WWE NXT Wrestling will return to Download Festival this summer, it has been revealed.

The Donington Park event has also announced a further 21 bands set to play the three-day festival, including Andrew WK, Hell Is For Heroes and Bad Religion.

Others just announced to play Download are A, CKY, Avatar, Nothing More, Culture Abuse, Lawnmower Deth, Starcrawler, Ded, Being As An Ocean, Ecca Vandal, Black Foxxes, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Igorrr, Loathe, Kaiser Franz Josef, Helpless, Cellar Darling, and Anchor Lane.

Wrestling fans, meanwhile, will be treated to the NXT display at a 'purpose-built facility' in the main arena. This will be included in the normal entry fee.

NXT stars taking part include Aleister Black, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Ricochet, Nikki Cross, Shayna Baszler, Kairi Sane, and The Undisputed ERA.

Headline acts playing the event, running between June 8 to 10, are Guns 'N' Roses, Ozzy Osbourne and Avenged Sevenfold.

Others on the bill include Bullet For My Valentine, Marilyn Manson, Rise Against, The Hives, Volbeat, Cradle Of Filth and many more.
