Birmingham's Judas Priest to headline Midland rock festival Bloodstock

Brummie metal legends Judas Priest will headline Bloodstock Open Air Festival next year.

The iconic band, fronted by Walsall-born Rob Halford, is best known for a huge range of songs, such as Breakin' The Law, You've Got Another Thing Comin', Painkiller, Living After Midnight, Turbo Lover and Hell Bent For Leather.

The group, which formed back in 1969, will play the Catton Park festival in Derbyshire on August 10 next year as the headline act.

Other bands headlining the three-day event are French heavy metal outfit Gojira and Finnish symphonic metallers Nightwish.
