The 24-year-old Italian, who stars as one of the professional dancers on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, was in Wombourne on Friday as part of a spectacular night of entertainment.

He performed a series of dances with partner Giada Lini, who is also a Strictly dancer. The pair, who are dating, performed to a 300-strong crowd at Wombourne Civic Centre.

The couple opened with the famous lift dance sequence from Dirty Dancing and also performed a passionate tango and a rumba which told the story of how they met.

The evening was hosted by Zig Zag Dance Factory owners Warren Bullock and Jane Phillips from Wolverhampton, the married stars and creators of popular TV show Baby Ballroom.

As well as the dance performance, there was also a fully booked samba masterclass which saw the pair teach enthusiastic guests how to gyrate their hips and boogie to a Brazilian beat.

Graziano, from Sicily, joined Strictly last year as one of three new professional dancers for the popular series' 16th season.

Paired with radio DJ Vick Hope, they navigated the world of sparkles, jives and intense rehearsals as newbies together, before bowing out of the competition in week five, losing in the dance-off to comedian Seann Walsh and his partner Katya Jones.

For three years before joining the show, he and Giada toured the world with the dance company Burn The Floor, a high-voltage theatrical dance show.

The smooth mover is a Latin champion. He has also represented Belgium at the World Championships and made the top 24 at the under 21s Latin World Championships.

Mr Bullock said: "They were stunning, it was probably the best show we've ever had. He only joined Strictly last year and I think I was expecting him to still be finding his feet but no, they blew us away."

The pair stayed till midnight signing autographs and posing for photographs with fans.

They were the latest in a long line of visiting Strictly dancers including James Jordan and Ola Grabowska, AJ Pritchard and Chloe Hewitt, and Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace.
