It was the 13th annual show at the historic venue where over 200 display vehicles from the early 1920s to the 1990s were parked up for the public to take photographs and chat with like-minded enthusiasts. Some of the stand-out cars included a pre-war 1930 Buike Coupe and a Jaguar 1990 XJS which sped off with first prize for the Best Modern Classic. A range of more prizes were on offer including Best Motorcycling Show, which was snatched up by a BSA A10 1960, and the Sydney Aver** Memorial Trophy.

Despite the showery weather, the show organised by Stafford Borough Council was another massive success as nearly 4,000 visitors attended to admire the cars from across the century.

Mark Hartwell, Heritage Sites Manager at Stafford Borough Council, said: "We felt it was very successful. This year there has been a stunning range of vehicles and we thank our display car owners as well as our sponsors."

The day, sponsored by RPH Motor Services, had a range of activities for the whole family to enjoy including craft stalls, games, quizzes and a special mini motor museum. Last year, children enjoyed mini Landrover rides and he mentioned they are already looking forward to another year of success in 2018 by having a higher focus on fun for the kids.
