The festival will take place throughout August and early September at Katie Fitzgerald's in Wollaston.

The star of the hit ITV quiz show and award-winning stand up will headline a show at Katie’s on Saturday, September 4.

The festival is being put on by Black Country comedy promoters Funny Beeseness, who also announced this week that crowd favourite Troy Hawke would be topping the bill at Katie’s on Saturday, August 28.

Also confirmed to appear so far are Ed Byrne, Hal Cruttenden, Rhys James, Shappi Khorsandi, Seann Walsh and Simon Evans, who will close the festival topping the bill at a show on Saturday, September 18.

One more big name is being announced in the coming days, with comedy fans urged to sign up to the mailing list at funnybeeseness.co.uk if they want to find out first.

Wayne Beese, from Dudley, director of Funny Beeseness, said: “Paul Sinha has consistently been one of our most popular acts since we started putting on shows, so if previous gigs are anything to go by the chase will most certainly be on for tickets.

“Most people will know him as a quizzer, but he is without question a brilliant and award-winning comic as well and definitely worth seeing live.

“We are also delighted to be bringing the incredibly unique and lovable Troy back to Stourbridge, where he always goes down an absolute storm.

“We have got one more big name up our sleeves and we will be announcing them to our mailing list first, so get signed up if you are not on it already to find out first who else will be appearing."
