The Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Group are gearing up to deliver their take on the tale of Mother Goose.

Upbeat songs and dances will feature throughout the show – which has already seen certain dates sell out.

Joanne Gresswell, head of the production team, said: "It will be a fun filled family pantomime, something for everybody is what we are aiming to do.

"From children to mom's and dad's, to nan's and grandads.

"We have been in rehearsal since September and it is going really well.

"We have got younger people who in our chorus – they have all been very dedicated turning up to rehearsals.

"The Civic seats around 696 people, we are doing two performances on the Sunday and the second is sold out.

"We are hoping they go away enjoying their time with us.

"The show does have a bit of a twist with the moral of it being that beauty is skin deep.

Pantomime fans will get to see good overcoming evil with the Fairy of Happiness taking on the evil Demon Discontent.

First runs of the show are at the Civic Hall in Brierley Hill on January 13 (TOMORROW) with further performances on January 14, January 18, January 19 and January 20.
