The talented Welshman, who is now a TV and radio presenter, performed with the Gentlemen Songsters Male Voice Choir in Dudley.

Jones, 40, rose to prominence for his version of 'Walking in the Air' which featured in hit Christmas film The Snowman.

He performed with the male voice choir in Dudley Town Hall on Saturday as part of a night which raised money for the borough mayor's charities.

Good Morning Britain presenter Philippa Tomson compered the evening.

All cash raised will go to Councillor Dave Tyler's three chosen charities – Dudley Mind, the YMCA and Dudley Alzheimer’s Society.

Jones has made a career presenting shows including Songs of Praise, Daybreak, Cash In The Attic and Escape To The Country.

The 70-strong Gentlemen Songsters Male Voice Choir, based in Dudley, performs in nearly 20 concerts every year including four at the town hall.

It was formed in 1957, so this year marks 60 years since its formation. Pictures of the show were taken by Ralph Mason.
