Midlands kitchen whizz Stuart, who is a former professional cookery student at Halesowen College, was crowned the winner of Masterchef: The Professionals last December.

The 28-year-old Bearwood native has been a chef for the last 13 years and worked as head-chef of fine-dining restaurant The Wilderness on Warstone Lane in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.

He returned to the college to speak to current students about his career and experiences.

Sam Little, head of division for catering at the College, said: "We are constantly grateful to Stuart and his support of the College and we look forward to seeing him again in the future."
