Brewhouse & Kitchen welcomed residents to the Veteran Brewery Day which took place on October 11.

Many members of the local community got involved to help brew the 'Veteran Brew' in the lead up to Remembrance Day on November 11.

The newly brewed beer will also be presented at the pub on November 7 at a tapping party where everyone is invited to come and see the veteran brewed beer being ‘tapped’ and to enjoy some free tasters.

The beer will be available during November.

Gail Bunn, marketing manager of Brewhouse & Kitchen, said: “We really wanted to play our part in commemorating Remembrance day this year, and what better way than to brew a unique beer for this important event.

"It was great seeing veterans, the wider community and those with a connection to our armed forces spending time together in our brewpubs to remember and celebrate all those who have fought for our country.”
