Gary Barlow is set to tour the country on a new solo tour next year – with a show at Birmingham's Utilita Arena in June.

'Music Played By Humans – The Tour' will feature special guest Beverley Knight, who also features on Gary's new album.

It comes after Beverley and Gary teamed up for a virtual duet during the coronavirus lockdown. Swapping arena stages for casual clothes and the comfort of their own homes, singer/songwriter Knight posted a clip on her Instagram featuring herself and Barlow during a video call dueting hit song I Knew You Were Waiting by Aretha Franklin and George Michael.

The video, created as part of The Crooner Sessions hosted by Barlow on his Instagram page, has since had tens of thousands of views.

Last week, Gary announced he would release his first solo album in seven years, Music Played By Humans, on November 27. The first single, Elita, features Michael Buble and Sebastian Yatra.
