Birmingham Dog's Home to host fun day
Birmingham's Dog Home is hosting a dogtastic fun day out for all of the family today.
This will include new attractions such as displays from the West Midland Police Dog Unit, children's dance workshops, a free children's play area, a bouncy castle and various other stalls as well as the annual dog show.
The event, which is being hosted by Niel Jackson from BBC Radio Shropshire, will take place from 10am until 4pm.
It will be held at the trust's Birmingham Centre, and free parking is available.
This event is supported by St. Georges Vets and Ancol Pet Products.
Every penny raised will continue to go towards the care of the dogs, to ensure that abandoned dogs receive the care they deserve.
Entry is just £2 for adults, £1 for children and dogs are free.
