The glittering occasion will see an array of icons at the city centre's Cineworld Broad Street for an extra-special screening of 2017 film You, Me and Him in aid of the Baby Lifeline charity.

Celebrities set to join David include All Creatures Great and Small actor Peter Davison, singer Jack Savoretti, Bridget Jones's Diary actress and comedian Sally Phillips, newsreader Nick Owen, TV chef Ainsley Harriot, Coronation Street actor Jimmi Harkishin, comedian Arabella Weir, and cast members from BBC daytime drama Doctors.

The evening will see David Tennant and director of the film Daisy Aitkens take part in a Q and A with the audience, followed by a screening. Sally Phillips may also join them in the interactive session.

The event, taking place on Saturday, March 31, aims to raise funds for the Monitoring For Mums appeal, launched by Birmingham-based Baby Lifeline Training. The campaign is looking to raise a total of £5 million to fund the purchase of specialist equipment for maternity and neonatal units across the UK.

You, Me and Him tells the story of lesbian couple Olivia and Alex, played by Lucy Punch and Faye Marsa. As the question of pregnancy rears its head and their neighbour John, played by David Tennant, befriends them, they both start making some truly disastrous decisions.

Tickets for the red carpet event and screening cost £36.
