Turning a car into a swimming pool

The 23-year-old, who was born in Wolverhampton, has been performing daring online stunts for six years as one half of YouTube channel TGFbro, which has amassed an astonishing 4.2 million subscriber following.

Alongside pal Romell Henry, the pair test the boundaries of endurance through weird and painful stunts and pranks, making megabucks through advertisement revenue in the process.

Most of the clips are filmed at Jay’s home in Dudley, from where he has managed to forge a lucrative career by putting his body on the line for the amusement of others.

Here’s a rundown of some of Jay’s most daring feats so far:

WARNING: These videos contain language that some viewers may find offensive.

Nettle Olympics - 15 million views

Certainly not for the faint-hearted, this unique take on the world’s iconic sporting extravaganza is aimed squarely at those who don’t mind subjecting themselves to pain.

Jay and Romell teamed up with fellow YouTuber KSI for this one, which saw them take on events including sprints and the topless long jump... over a bed of stinging nettles. Ouch!

Extreme Crocodile Dentist - 12 million views

A painful game that is apparently popular among YouTubers, this clip features Jay doctoring Crocodile Dentist – a children’s toy for ages 4+ – with a powerful spring, drawing pins and nails.

When the crocodile clamps down its jaws, the results are not pretty for Jay and the gang as the blood begins to flow.

Submerged in a bath full of concrete - 9.5 million views

Another popular YouTube stunt involves people setting themselves in concrete.

Jay spent a night buried in the stuff in his bath, and more than nine and a half million people have watched the results.

He finds it funny at first, but panic starts to kick in once the concrete starts to set and the realisation that he is truly stuck hits home.

Bathing in gelatin - 9 million views

A slightly safer (and easier to escape from?) version of the concrete stunt, Jay attempts to turn himself into the world’s largest Gummi Bear by spending 10 hours in a bath full of gelatin... with added Ribena, as you do.

It all goes according to plan, until he gets stuck to the bottom of the bath.

Turning a car into a swimming pool - 2.7 million views

In their latest video, Jay and the boys make an old banger water-tight by filling it with sealant, before filling it with water and, erm, going for a swim.

The clip features Jay diving into the passenger seat footwell, and plenty of Strongbow Dark Fruits, and a flooded garage.

Bathing in spaghetti - 4 million views

Jay and Romell buy a load of tins of spaghetti from the supermarket, pile it all into a bath and get in for a dip. This one comes with a health warning.

The lads decide to eat the spaghetti, and the results are not pretty.
