Canadian megastar Bryan Adams will play a gig in Birmingham this weekend.

The 57-year-old star is the proud recipient of 18 Juno Awards, a Grammy award and an Ivor Novello, among others.

Bryan is best known for a huge range of songs, such as I Do It For You, Summer Of '69, Heaven, Please Forgive Me, All For Love, Run To You, Here I Am and The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You.

Tom is best known for TV appearances on the likes of Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, The John Bishop Show and Channel 4's Comedy Gala.

Telford's Got Talent Round Two - Oakengates Theatre, Telford

The second round of Telford's Got Talent will kick off this week.

Telford will be celebrating 50 years existence this year and as part of this celebration The Dennis Miller production team have been looking for talent including singers, dancers and musicians ranging from any age to show what they've got.

This is the second round of auditions before contestants make it to the live finals and a step closer to winning the £500 Grand Prize.

Legally Blonde The Musical - New Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham

The smash hit Broadway and West End Musical based on the best-selling film, Legally Blonde, will be wowing crowds in Birmingham this weekend.

The show follows popular sorority sister Elle Woods, who is dumped by her boyfriend, Warner Huntingdon III, and decides to pick up the books and pursue a career in law.

Legally Blonde The Musical will also take place on May 26.

Art - Birmingham Hippodrome ALL WEEK

Nigel Havers, Denis Lawson and Stephen Tompkinson will star in a production of Art at Birmingham Hippodrome.

The show follows the story of Serge, who spends an extortionate amount of money on an all white modernist painting and leaves close friends Marc and Yvan baffled.

Having opened in 1996, Art has won the Olivier, Tony, Moliere and every other major theatre award.

Art will also take place on May 26.

Staffs Fest - Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge

Staffs Fest returns to Penkridge from May 25 to 27.

The annual Lower Drayton Farm event will see a number of local musicians of all different genres perform across three days.

Acts announced to play the festival include Slyder, Rockdogs, Voodoo Stone, Cold Flame, Selwyn Brown, A Williams, Gary Lees and Mick Oakden.

An acoustic stage will feature acts on both Friday and Saturday.

The Soul All-Dayer will take place on Sunday with DJs playing vinyl only.

Little ones will also be able to enjoy the event's very own Kidz Zone with inflatable slides,a gladiator challenge, a bouncy castle, kids disco, face painting and more.

Visitors can also enjoy Farmer Ray's tractor trailer rides which will give a guided tour of the fully working farm.

All tickets include optional free camping, and under 16s get in for free.

Dippy On Tour: A Natural History Adventure - Birmingham Museum

How to build a diplodocus | Natural History Museum

Dippy The Dinosaur is coming to Birmingham Museum.

Dippy is a 292-piece skeleton cast that first delighted visitors in 1905, when he arrived in London for Dippy on Tour: A Natural History Adventure.

The skeleton will be a part of a new spectacle at the Chamberlain Square attraction, that will explore how dinosaurs evolved into birds.

As well as getting the chance to see Dippy, visitors will also be able to see a velociraptor cast, a cast of a dinosaur nest and a real Great Auk, a bird which became extinct the mid-19th century.

A variety of iconic ska bands will join forces to play Birmingham's Genting Arena.

After the success of the 2017 event which featured The Specials and Toots and the Maytals, the people behind Slam Dunk Festival are back to deliver another outdoor event.

Wars of the Roses Live returns for 2018!

War Of The Roses Live returns to Warwick Castle just in time for half term.

It’s 1455 and the House of Lancaster holds the English throne. King Henry VI’s crown is challenged by the House of York. The rival houses clash in battle and the bloody war that ensues was to last over 30 years.

This story will be told with the use of stunt riders, jousting, and state of the art special effects.

War Of The Roses Live runs from May 26 to June 3.

Birmingham Pride Festival - Birmingham Gay Village

Gossip's Beth Ditto, Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and Rudimental are among the acts lined-up to play Birmingham Pride Festival 2018.

They will be joined by 80s music icon Howard Jones, Gorgon City, Stefflon Don, Kelli-Leigh, Jax Jones and Kim Petras at the two-day event taking place in the city's Gay Village

The artists will appear across six different stages, including the Dance Arena, Women's Arena, and Alt Club stage.

Birmingham Pride is the UK's largest two-day LGBTQ festival. It has taken place for more than 20 years, and in the last five years has raised more than £300,000 for local community projects.

The event features an array of live music, arts performances, stalls and the annual pride parade.

Birmingham Pride also takes place on May 27.

The event will see BBC Music, Radio 2 and Radio 3 join forces to create a bumper live music event. Acts that will perform at the two-day event include Liam Gallagher, Stereophonics, Paloma Faith, Billy Ocean, Snow Patrol, Nigel Kennedy, Strictly Come Dancing with the BBC Concert Orchestra and UB40 Featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey.

Slam Dunk Festival

Leading pop punk and alternative rock festival Slam Dunk Festival returns to NEC Birmingham on Monday.

The festival is set to return for its biggest year to date with not one, but two major headline artists in the form of Good Charlotte and Jimmy Eat World.

Other acts that will perform at the event include Twin Atlantic, Lower Than Atlantis, Reel Big Fish, Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes and more.
