Weston Park to reopen for Easter

Weston Park, the landmark stately home on the Shropshire/ Staffordshire border, will be welcoming visitors to the estate this Easter.

The Park will open to visitors daily from March 29, with 1,000 acres of parkland accessible, including the family favourite Woodland Adventure Playground.

Families are being invited to take along dogs, bicycles and even rounders bats and balls to enjoy the outdoors safely.

Jennifer Astbury, head of estate operations on the estate said: “We are delighted to be reopening the estate to visitors ready for the Easter holidays.

"In a break from tradition we have decided to open the estate for an additional 40 days this year compared to our usual opening pattern, so that visitors can really make the most of the estate.

!We have received the ‘Good to Go’ accreditation from Visit England and are ready to welcome visitors safely.”

Over the Easter weekend, Easter-themed picnics will be available for visitors.

Tickets for the picnics must be booked in advance and bookings will close on March 28.

The Stables Coffee Bar will be offering a takeaways service from the March 29, where visitors can pick up coffee and freshly made savouries to take into the park with them.

Outdoor seating at the Granary Brasserie will be available from April 12,

The park will be open daily, from 10.30am till 6pm, with last admission at 3pm.

Weston Park will be welcoming a set capacity of visitors per day and tickets should be bought in advance to guarantee entry at weston-park.com

Areas remaining closed to visitors for the time being are the House, the Granary Art Gallery and the Maze.
