Francesca Cox will be helping out with the half-term at Walsall Leather Museum

Walsall Leather Museum has laid on two activities to keep youngsters entertained next week.

Visitors will be encouraged to make their own mini robots during the first workshop on Wednesday.

It takes place at the museum between the hours of 10.30am and 12.30pm or 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

There is no need to book and children can pop along at anytime. Entry costs £1.20.

Artist Ruth Turnbull will be at the museum on October 20 teaching visitors how to make mini zoo creatures.

Children will also make their own theatre on the day, to store their new creations.

Opening times are the same but children must remain for the whole two hours.

Places must be booked in advance for the animal-making workshop and entry costs £4 per child.

For further information about the half-term activities contact Francesca Cox at the museum on 01922 652288.
