Soap actress Samia, age 37, was joined by her daughter Freya, age nine, and three-year-old son Yves at the new inflatable theme park – along with husband Sylvain, her former Dancing On Ice partner.

And she revealed she loves getting her kids involved in fun family activities while limiting their screen time.

Samia – who plays hairdresser Maria Connor on the famous cobbles – said: “It’s all too easy to let the kids stay on the iPad or other electronic devices, especially during the six weeks school summer holidays.

“We limit the children to one hour a day and focus on being active instead. Places like this offer the perfect chance to leave the iPad at home and enjoy a digital detox.”

Meanwhile Love Island star Tom, 29, tested his fitness on the Total Wipeout-style giant bouncing balls as he joined other VIP guests in getting an exclusive look at the state-of-the-art inflatables.

He said: “The attention I’ve received since leaving the Love Island villa has been crazy.

“I’ve been lucky that the majority of people seem to like me. I get girls my age saying, ‘My mum and my nan love you’.

“One thing I never really thought about happening was having lots of older women message me. Others just want to take me out on dates. It’s all very flattering.”

Inflata Nation – the company’s seventh centre in the UK – opened to the public on Monday, August 19.

Co-founder Matt Ball said: “We’re really excited to be bringing a second family-friendly inflatable theme park to the West Midlands.

“Our new centre has been carefully designed to make the best use of the 30,000 sq ft of space it has.

“It features ball pits, climbing walls, gladiator podiums, obstacle races and balance challenges.

“Plus a ‘super slide’ arena which has the most inflatable slides out of any of our venues.”

The West Bromwich Centre is located at Astle Retail Park, off Cronehill Linksway.
