Collectors head to Himley Hall for antiques fair - with pictures and video

Collectors looking to unearth hidden gems came out at an antiques sale in the Black Country.

Sellers displayed their wares at Himley Hall as hundreds of people came along to see what they could find.

From mirrors to clocks and paintings to jewellery, there was a range of items on offer.

It was the first antiques and collectors fair to be held at the historic country house for nearly three years.

More than 50 traders ran stalls at the event over the weekend with more events scheduled over the next 18 months.

Paul Rowson, of Antiques at Events, said: "We have been working behind the scenes for some time now to try and bring these once popular events back to Himley Hall.

"We have booked them in around the third Sunday of every other month until the end of 2020."
