Nets adventure park to open at Black Country centre

A treetop nets adventure park is set to open in the Black Country this weekend.

Challenge Academy, an outdoor adventure centre at Baggeridge Country Park, will open its new Nets Adventure Park to the public on Saturday.

The park features suspended four metre high ropes with a series of tree houses connected and supported by nets.

Adults and youngsters will have to tackle a range of different obstacles as they make their way through the course.

It will sit alongside the high ropes course at the centre.

Mel Ellis, managing director at Challenge Academy, said: "We don’t believe that there’s anything else like our Nets Adventure in the West Midlands, so we are excited to be launching this new attraction over the Bank Holiday weekend.

“Adventure is at the heart of everything we do at Challenge Academy and adding this new attraction to our site will give visitors of all ages and abilities another option to enjoy an outdoor adventure experience with us.

“Our high ropes course offers a series of challenging obstacles for children as young as five to take on, and now our new nets course will give younger ones, from as little as four years old, a taste of what we offer in a safe environment.”

The academy provides outdoor adventures for all ages and abilities. with all profits used to develop and improve activities on offer.

The centre is open from 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm, seven days a week.
