The Blair Witch Project and Beetlejuice will be shown at the 11th century attraction as part of the annual Beware the Moon event that saw Night of the Living Dead and Lost Boys scare attendees last year.

Film fans also have the chance to see Dirty Dancing and Oscar smash-hit Bohemian Rhapsody in May.

Matt Lewis, zoo manager, said: "Our previous open-air cinema nights have proved really popular so we are delighted to be able to put on extra events this year.

“We are sure these titles will prove to be huge hits, but we have limited ticket availability, so we advise early booking to avoid disappointment."

Cinema goers are advised the films will go ahead whatever the weather, according to bosses.
