The Maze, which spans 9 acres, has become a hugely enjoyable attraction at the Farm attracting up to and over 100 visitors in a day via the promise of hour-long entertainment as they try to navigate through the complex network of hedges. Certainly, it requires families to show their team-work and creative skills.

Councillor Bill Gavan, Sandwell Council's cabinet member for leisure, said: “This is fun for all ages and is yet another good reason to visit Forge Mill Farm and Sandwell Valley Country Park this summer. Alongside the maze, visitors can take part in the farm's daily activities varying from cow milking and chick handling to crafts such as activity sheets and colouring zones.

Farm Manager Melissa Underwood said the maze was received "brilliantly" by the children and it is "an excellent addition to the daily activities put on by the farm".

The Maize Maze is at your disposal for the full Forge Mill Farm day - 10am-4pm - running until Sunday 2nd September. Prices vary, with adults over 16 priced at £2.50 and OAPs and children priced at £1.50. The maze will then be environmentally disposed of, with the maize being harvested and fed to the cattle at the end of the season.

Forge Mill Farm is located at Sandwell Valley Country Park, Salter's Lane, West Bromwich B71 4BG.
