Dragon Slayer, which is set to open in August, will tell audiences the legend of Guy of Warwick and his quest for the love of Princess Felice of Warwick Castle.

Dragon Slayer is Warwick Castle’s first evening entertainment created exclusively to depict the tale.

Guy of Warwick is said to have battled mythical creatures, including a Duncow, to win the heart of Felice, the Earl of Warwick’s daughter.

Performances will start at sunset with epic jousting and sword-fighting in a custom-built arena, before a torch lit procession leads the audience to Warwick Castle’s main courtyard.

The exciting immersive live show will also include fire jousting, stunts, a horse-led procession to the courtyard, and a projection light show finale with mythical monsters, pyrotechnics and real flames.

Dragon Slayer begins on August 3 and continues until August 27.
