Nearly 350,000 visitors have taken part the outdoor adventures on offer at Birches Valley on Cannock Chase and to celebrate their birthday on May 22 they have a week of celebrations planned.

As part of this, they are looking for someone who is also turning 10-years-old on the same day and will be offering them a birthday party which will be drawn from all entrants who share the same birthday. Entries can be made at the Go Ape! Cannock Facebook page.

Site manager, Claire Potter said: “The main celebrations will be happening over the weekend of May 19 or 20, so if your invite to the Royal wedding got lost in the post like ours did, then you are cordially invited to our party in the forest. There will be plenty of give-aways, fun and games in addition to the excitement of your chosen adventure.”

They opened in 2008 before introducing Forest Segway in 2012 followed by the Tree Top Junior a year later. In 2015, they built their flagship cabin and two years ago a dual course was built to double capacity on the Tree Top Adventure.

They were also recently a finalist in the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Customer Service award.

She added: “If you have not got around to visiting us yet, make 2018 the year you turn I cannot into I can and start your adventure. If you have been one of our intrepid adventurers before, come and see how far we’ve come and what we have to offer now.”
