Richard Fellows, 35, from Cannock, has been entertaining social media users with songs by Sir Tom Jones.

Mr Fellows, who's stage name is Richie Dean, has amassed tens of thousands of views amid the pandemic.

He became a full-time singer eight years ago but his profession has been impacted by the Government lockdown, with music venues closing.

Covid-19 coverage:

Mr Fellows said: "I want to bring a bit of happiness and joy to people who are locked away in their houses.

"Obviously, because venues have closed, I am using this platform to bring people entertainment."

Mr Fellows worked in factories and rose to become a manager. But he quit his job in 2012 to follow his passion.

He usually performs at pubs and clubs but these have since closed due to the lockdown.

Since taking to Facebook, Mr Fellows has been performing live from the comfort of his living room. His first video amassed more than 15,000 views.

After this video was viewed by thousands, he was then invited to perform on a Facebook group called Rock The Lockdown, which has 872,000 members.

This latest video has had more than 12,100 views to date.

On both occasions, he performed a tribute show to Tom Jones called The Complete Tom Jones.
