The Wildhearts are coming to Wolverhampton

For three decades, they have been big names on the British rock scene ever since their debut album Earth Vs was voted album of the year in Kerrang! back in 1993. It bettered that when it was placed at number 20 in the best rock albums of all time in a Kerrang! special in 2006.

They have kept the writing going, through to the release of their first full-length studio album in 10 years, Renaissance Men, in May.

They did the whole “rock star” thing – the 90s saw them constantly in the papers over tales of sex, drugs, bust ups, fights - both with labels and themselves, splits, and a lot more controversy. The recent years have seen the band more focused than ever before.

Welcoming back their long-time bandmate Danny McCormack on bass; Ginger and CJ continue on guitars and vocals, with Ritch Battersby on drums

Labelled The Renaissance Man Tour Part II, fans will once again get to see their famously incendiary shows when they arrive at KK’s Steel Mill, housed at Starworks Warehouse on Wolverhampton’s Frederick Street.

The gig takes place on October 21. For tickets, priced at £27.50, search for The Wildhearts on SeeTickets. It will be the final date on the extended tour.
