Shot at landmarks across the county, it tells the story of a retired field commander, Mark Forbes, who is soon dragged back into action after a secret experimental project is resurrected in Wales.

Scriptwriter and actor Philip Huzzey, from Muxton , Telford, and his project partner Kaushy Patel, from Walsall, unveiled their creation at the recent premiere held at Shifnal Village Hall attended by about 100 film buffs.

Mr Huzzey, said: “The audience really watched it intensely. They laughed at the right things and cheered when the baddie or mutated soldiers were defeated. They gave a rapturous applause at the end of the 90-minute film.

“Nearly all the cast and crew attended and were all extremely pleased with the production and the marvellous reception by the audience. It was a highly rewarding culmination of so much sterling work by everyone involved.

"I would like to give my deepest thanks to Matthew Wood the director of photography and to Kaushy the co-director and producer for their outstanding contribution to the project. And my thanks also go out to all the cast and crew who were so committed to making this film a success.

“We will now enter the film into competitions and festivals both domestic and international."

There are also plans to market it as a ‘pay to view' movie online and if it attracts awards this will allow the team to seek financial backing for future projects to create a more lavish production and possibly include professional actors and actresses.
