Following a DJ set as eager audience members claimed their spaces on the grass, a series of trailers and short films were shown to kick-start the night.

From the comedic The Fearless Vampire Killers to classic horror film Dracula and eerie short The Ghosts, the scene was set for the feature film.

With an all-star cast featuring the likes of Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim and Jason Patric; the blood-sucking horror follows brothers Michael and Sam Emmerson as they battle a gang of vampires when Michael becomes afflicted with the curse.

With the grounds awash in eerie red lighting and occult projections on the castle walls, it felt as if the audience were right in the midst of the vampire's lair.

The crowd cheered along to famous quotes, sang along to the killer soundtrack, and gasped aloud at the gore; creating a hair-raising atmosphere right from the opening credits.

The Lost Boys is both fun and frightening, and both the venue and crowd reflected the true essence of the film.

Just like the previous screening of Night of the Living Dead, the crowd cheered and clapped as the film came to an end in appreciation for the event organisers.

Flatpack created a truly chilling atmosphere for us to feast upon this action-packed movie, and I can't wait to see what event they will host next.
