Strictly Come Dancing fans can feast on the dancing shoes and sequins of Gemma Atkinson and Aljaž Skorjanec; Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez; Susan Calman and Kevin Clifton; Davood Ghadami and Nadiya Bychkova; Joe McFadden and Katya Jones; Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice; and Jonnie Peacock and Oti Mabuse.

The fabulous celebrities and professional dancers will be joining the tour judging panel of Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell.

To round off the sparkling line-up, the tour will be hosted by reigning Strictly Champion Ore Oduba. They will all be joined by more Strictly professional dancers, the Strictly singers and the Strictly live band.

For Ore, it’s a dream come true to be involved in the show once more. He’s a Strictly addict who watches every minute of every show.

“If there’s a slight mistake, my heart sinks and beats unhealthily fast. Even before the titles run, I can feel what the dancers are feeling.

“What would be funny is if someone filmed me, Gogglebox-style, watching Strictly. It’s like a one-man-band of weird.”

Ore admitted he’d missed the show so much that he jumped at the chance to get involved when he was asked.

“I’m not pining to be doing it again, but if there’s something I miss it’s the camaraderie and the backstage buzz. There’s nothing like that buzz.”

One of the most popular performers at Birmingham Arena will be Debbie McGee. The star was the surprise package of last year’s show and didn’t realise the chemistry she’d have with her partner, Giovanni Pernice.

“It’s one in a million. We realised we wanted to dance together, but I don’t think we realised the absolute chemistry we’d have.

“There’s a magic that is happening. The other dancers took the mickey out of us. He really cares, he doesn’t just care about me, he cares about everybody. He makes everyone feel special and that’s what Paul used to do, and that’s what I love about him.

“We’ve laughed about how similar we are. Why does it happen in life? I don’t know. We just have this incredible bond.

“I don’t care because we had the most amazing time and we said, ‘Lets just enjoy the last three dances’, and for me, all I wanted to do was to do the best I possibly could, which I did, so I’m happy.

“We all deserved to win. It doesn’t matter because we had a great time.”

Last year’s show was the 15th series of Strictly Come Dancing and featured winner Joe McFadden along with runners-up Debbie McGee, Gemma Atkinson and Alexandra Burke.

Joe says he found himself under pressure during the TV show. “You’re concentrating on each move. I know she’s (Katya) got her eyes out looking for me doing it wrong and having a turned in foot when it should be turned out and not having fingers pointed at the end.” Despite his success in the show, Joe and the runners-up didn’t stick around to party after the Glitterball presentation.

“There was a little bit of a party Saturday night. The four finalists were all so exhausted – I don’t think we partied very hard. And I of course had the obligatory cold which descended instantly, the second I won.”

Alexandra Burke made her name on another reality TV show – The X Factor – and has got engaged since Strictly ended just before Christmas.

She shared a photo showing her hand with the words ‘I said yes’ written on it, after getting engaged in Paris on December 18.

“So grateful for this amazing man in my life who has supported my family and I through so much,” she added.

“We decided to keep this between us for a while to enjoy this special moment and that’s why we haven’t said anything . . .

“Something so amazing honestly felt so overwhelming because there was only one person I wanted to call when it happened. I know she is smiling and very happy for us both - because little did I know she knew about it.

“For those who guessed and have left such beautiful messages – thank you. Josh is someone who makes me so happy and I’ve never felt this kind of love before. Here’s to an amazing future that’s filled with love, joy and so much happiness. I love you Joshua Ginnelly. I can’t wait to see what our future brings and what God provides for us xxx”

Gemma Atkinson, meanwhile, has fuelled rumours of romance with Ryan Giggs, since the show ended. The duo had a lunch date at a restaurant in Manchester, even though they have denied dating.

Atkinson said she was bored by the speculation: “Anyone I hang about with of the opposite sex, people say I’m going out with. Whenever we all go out together as friends people say we’re in a relationship.”

Atkinson is best known for her role as Lisa Hunter on Hollyoaks and for the character Tamzin Bayle on Casualty. She also plays Carly Hope on Emmerdale and is an ex-glamour model.

The Manchester entertainer rose to fame on Hollyoaks and her star has continued to rise. She has previously featured in the reality show Soapstar Superstar as well as Celebrity Weakest Link and Celebrity Mastermind.
